By he was able to support himself as a full time composer for the first time. So, now I’ve found it again, but the vfen for a good recording I can put on my i-Pod or play on the stereo will continue for a while. His orchestral pieces were primarily of the ” light music ” style; a well known piece of his is the three-movement Fantasy-Concerto. So, writing up my post about Breton music got me thinking about some other Celtic music, and in particular my favorite Manx music, an old folktune we played in band years ago, called Mannin Veen.
