Because Julio Cortazar is an author I’ve been meaning to read. Something hot and steamy that may not last long, but something that will stick with me anyway.

And while I love novels that challenge me cefqlea force me to see the world differently, short stories are a horse of a different color. The problem is that this story reads too much like a segment taken out of context of a much larger work.

Its the guy I go out with in order to feel something that’s more than just animal passion. I kind of feel like an asshole for not liking this one. And I do understand what was being said, and what this author was trying to do. No trivia or quizzes yet.
This one just didn’t do it for me. Vivid descriptions of the suffering felt during headaches and more oblique descriptions of creatures that may or may not be causing the suffering.

I think this might require another read-through. The guy I want to have crazy hot sex with in an airplane bathroom. A short story is that hot guy who I want to make cortazra with underneath the bleachers at a football game.
And most of the time, instead of enlightening me, or drawing me in, or challenging me, this short story just confused me.
